About Front End Supervisors:

Front end supervisor oversees cashiers, baggers, and other employees within the checkout area of the store to ensure that excellent customer service is provided to customers. They often administer training to employees, as well, so leadership and public speaking skills are highly beneficial in this position.

Customers should always be greeted, especially when entering the store, and front-end supervisor may be responsible for resolving customers' questions and concerns. They should offer assistance whenever possible in the checkout area. It's important to make sure that all safety precautions are observed at all times, and front-end supervisor may also prepare performance evaluations of employees, schedule their shifts, and assign duties. The supervisor may also answer phone calls to the store and must ensure that cashiers are operating the cash registers accurately and efficiently and performing age-verification when necessary. They may also be responsible for general housekeeping duties in the checkout area, bathroom, common areas, and employee break room, as well as preparing daily deposits and end-of-day paperwork.

Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent retail experience supplemented with leadership training.

Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; including nights, weekends and holidays.

Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers, representing as a role model in behaviors.

Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.

Have good communication skills; the ability to take direction/constructive criticism and participate in a team environment

Be able to perform repetitious activities, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.

Must lift/carry product horizontally/vertically weighing up to 30 lbs.

Requires strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers; proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills; ability to read, write and count.

* We are looking for nights and weekend availability on the front end and open availability

• Every week
