Job description
We are looking to fill a front office position for a local busy office. This is a temporary position through April, but could possibly become a permanent long-term position. Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 or 5.
The right candidate is someone who has professional office experience, strong communication skills both written and verbal, is proficient with Microsoft office, detail-oriented, and has excellent time management skills as well as excellent attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent customer service and people skills.
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Able to handle busy phones.
- Multi-task and deliver results with urgency and accuracy.
- Must be reliable, dependable, on time, and motivated to be part of an amazing team.
- Someone who takes pride in the quality of your work and is eager to learn new skills and excited about it.
- Must be proficient in computer skills.
- Ability to email with professionalism, good spelling, and grammar.
- Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate with discretion.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of records and personal information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to be on time and dependable, reliable, and a team player.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Organize and File.
- Detailed records.
- Other duties as assigned to help office staff.
Someone friendly, outgoing and can communicate with courtesy, patience, and tact.
