Description

This Fraud Operation Sr Specialist position is responsible for the review, research and follow-through of Return Deposited Items, Reg CC review processes and Account Closing processes. In this role you will be responsible for the detection, prevention and investigation of potential fraud situations which require the ability to conduct research, execute various tasks to protect the customer and bank from financial loss, and provide clear documentation of the investigation. You will investigate suspicious account activities; review account opening and send SAR referrals within required guidelines. Fraud Operations Sr Specialist is responsible to meet internal SLAs, maintain a high attention to detail, is self-motivated, have the ability to document clear research comments and possess knowledge of REG CC guidelines. The Sr Specialist will work collaboratively with department colleagues, external customers, and business partners. May perform other duties as assigned related to Fraud Detection and operational issues, and will need to manage competing priorities in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, changing environment, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and to function efficiently in a high volume, fast paced deadline environment.
• Working knowledge of bank services and products. Reg CC knowledge is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
• Proficiency in PC skills and MS office
• Strong organization skills
• Strong time management skills
• Strong knowledge of department applications and systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
• Ability to identify fraud trends
• 3+ years required, Professional experience in analysis, financial services industry or business line experience preferred.

Hours and Work Schedule

• Hours per Week: 40
• Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30m to 5pm
