Northwest Distribution Company is seeking Forklift operators with Sit-Down and Stand-Up experience for 1st shift, $17-18/hour, temp to hire positions. Forklift operators must have at least 2 years of warehouse and/or Shipping and Receiving experience and be able to work in the Northwest side of Houston

Job Description:

• Shipping, Receiving, Inventory control, and other activities in the warehouse

• Provide support for our Parts Stores.

• Upholds environmental health and safety standards

• Store materials and equipment properly

• Works closely with internal customers (Store Associates and Sales Managers)

• Provides excellent customer service to external customers (mechanical contractors; dealers, owners)

• Drives Forklift

• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to pass a background and drug test
• High school diploma Required
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse operational experience
• Previous forklift experience
• HVAC experience is preferred, but not required
• PC skills, inventory, and shipping/receiving systems experience required
• Products are commercial and residential HVAC parts and equipment, therefore, experience working with contractors is desired.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
