Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all makes of lift trucks
• Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics
• Able to repair, or replace major system components, including circuit boards and other electrical parts, hydraulics, transmissions, engines with limited supervision
• Perform engine tune-ups on most makes of equipment without supervision
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks in a timely manner
• Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems on IC and electric trucks
• Maintain and properly use tools of the trade
• Demonstrates exceptional customer skills
• Properly identify replacement parts
• Operate service van in a clean, safe and secure manner
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork upon completion of each job
• Follows all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies
• Perform other duties as required by management

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical school graduate desired.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care skills are necessary.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks are required.

Computer Skills: Basic Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• Forklift Technician 2 years (MUST have experience as a Forklift Service TECHNICIAN - MECHANIC on Industrial/Forklift equipment)'
