The Football Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the
football program’s day-to-day operations. This includes but is not limited to game day preparation,
logistics, equipment management, budgeting, and player development. The Coordinator will work
closely with Football coaches and other members of the staff to develop programs to address the
physical, mental, and educational needs of football athletes. Assist the Executive Director of Sports
Medicine with uniform sponsorship, OPS scholarship program, and hiring of coaches. Assist in
developing community outreach service to assist low income athletes and athletes in need.

Licensure:
CPR Certification within 30 days of hire
Current driver’s license is required to travel to assigned sites

Experience:
2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a college or professional setting.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree in sports management, business administration, or related field is preferred.

Other:
Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.
Requires working knowledge of Football training Protocols and Procedures, as well as multiple
coaching techniques and procedures. Demonstrates ability to evaluate Athletes skill level at multiple
positions using multiple disciplines.
Requires strong working knowledge of the normal growth, development, related behaviors, needs,
comfort and range of exercise presentation appropriate to the age and ability level of the Athletes
served in order to support the provision of an individualized multidisciplinary plan of care.
Requires a high level of analytical skills necessary to gather and interpret Athletic training related
data, evaluate individual needs, conduct related research and recommend and/or implement related
programs and educational services.
Requires leadership, group cohesion and communication skills promoting teamwork and group
achievement.
Demonstrates an extremely high level of interpersonal and communication skills, necessary to
establish and maintain positive and effective therapeutic/working relationships with all.

Experience
