Pay: $20.00 an hour.
PLUS TIPS: Tips are an additional $7.00 - $15.00 an hour on average
Job Purpose: The food truck driver will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the food truck, including driving from the warehouse to the setup location, preparing and serving food, handling cash and credit card transactions, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience Driving a 22-foot and 26-foot long truck is a MUST.
- Safely driving to and from warehouse and daily setup location.
- Prepare and cook food items in accordance with the menu and food safety standards
- Set up and break down the food truck before and after service
- Take customer orders and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Serve food to customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Clean and sanitize the food truck, including all cooking equipment, utensils, and surfaces
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking usage
- Help with menu planning and development
- Promote the food truck through social media and other marketing channels
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer complaints or concerns
- Collaborate with other food truck employees to ensure smooth operations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience driving delivery trucks of 22-feet and longer.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the food service industry preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
