TIPPED POSITION

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile!
• Must be familiar with menu, daily specials, and preparation of foods and prices
• Use suggestive selling (i.e., cocktails, appetizers, desserts, etc.)
• Take customer’s orders and accurately input the order into the computer
• Observe and anticipate guest’s needs, keeping table cleared between courses, and beverages filled throughout their meal
• Present check for payment when all guests’ needs have been met
• Practice good safety procedures
• Adhere to department and property policies and procedures
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent ability to multitask
• Knowledge of up selling techniques

Required Education and Work Experience

• At least 6 months experience as a server in a dining establishment
