OFT INC provides U.S. food manufacturers with innovative flavors, sauces, and bases. We work with our customers to develop products that are both meaningful and current. We provide healthy, clean, and safe foods manufactured in compliance to all U.S. regulatory agencies with effective food safety controls.

Primary Functions

• Lift samples up to 50lbs for inspection purpose
• Test equipment maintenance and calibration
• Operates the pH Meter, salt, moisture, etc.
• Maintains retention records and samples
• Interfaces with production personnel
• Demonstrates the ability to train and motivate others.
• Ensures GMP and Safety policies are being followed
• Dependable, flexible, and accountable for job responsibilities
• Perform line checks to include lot code, weight, label and torque verification.
• HACCP monitoring activities.
• Inspection of raw materials, packaging components, in-process and finished product to defined specifications
• Monitor good manufacturing processes for compliance
• Inspect raw materials for proper specifications, codes, lot numbers and dates including information necessary for lot tracing
• Inspection of incoming raw materials, and release of those raw materials for production
• Checks premixes to ensure correct quantities are batched
• Creates / Updates records using Excel and Word
• Other administrative duties assigned by manager

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in food manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to use spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (MS Word), etc.
• HACCP and GMP experience preferred
• Nevada State Food Handler Card/Health Card
