Old Sturbridge Village, the largest outdoor history museum in the Northeast, depicts a rural New England town of the 1830s. This is a non-costumed and must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Some nights and holidays are required. This position is temporary and will run from the beginning of October to the end of December 2022.

Essential Duties:

• Present menu selections, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices
• Basic cash handling skills
• Operate a cash register, make change, in accordance with company policies and issue receipts accurately
• Promotes diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility.
• Light food prep, understanding of sanitation, and knowledge of presentation of food

Qualifications:

• Be able to lift over 25lbs.
• Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups.
• Must be able to stand long periods of time
• Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $15.00 per hour
