As a fleet manager, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of about 30-40 drivers, as if you were running your own small business. Your ability to manage your fleet will determine your success within the company. We reward top performers! You will develop relationships with each driver, serve as their main point of contact for any issues they experience on the road, and ensure that they are continuing to cultivate their skills to grow within the organization. You will communicate safety expectations to them to ensure they are remaining safe on the road and following all DOT regulations. You will track their freight to confirm it will be delivered within the timeframe allotted.
Top performers in this role earn between $80,000-$90,000 annually in aggregate compensation!
Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate daily with your team of drivers
• Ensure on time delivery for freight shipments
• Work with other departments to meet companywide initiatives
• Develop relationships with drivers, help them grow within the organization

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
• Relevant sales or management experience
• Demonstrated track record of achievement and success, ability to lead by example.
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Competitive by nature and driven to be successful
• Refuse to lose mentality

Job Requirements:
Work Location: Richmond, VA, in office
This position is Monday-Friday, 7-5 PM, with an occasional Saturday shift
