Vermeer All Roads in Annapolis Junction, MD has an opportunity for a detail oriented, multi-tasker to be Fleet Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State DOT regulations and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring appropriate DOT and other regulatory paperwork are completed, tracked, and filed as needed per driver qualification (DQ) file process.
• Supports 3rd party service in DOT driver qualification in upload DQ records (i.e. JJ Keller)
  • Verification of new commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driver candidate’s prior employment, Drug & Alcohol program areas, violations and accidents, if applicable.
  • Provide support in coordinating and scheduling of road test, physicals and other compliance areas.
  • Perform audits to ensure DQ files are DOT compliant.
  • Verify employment of former regulated employees when requested by outside companies.
  • Prepare Motor Vehicles Records (MVR), violations and accident information for DOT Annual Review.
  • Generate reports to identify near expiring Driver’s Licenses and Medical Cards and communicate to Operational Leadership.
• Responsible for calls in support of communicating with drivers and other agencies information areas to provide or obtain information as needed.
• Supports Fleet Operations areas.
  • Work in and with our Telematics / GPS / ELD fleet areas. (i.e. Samsara)
  • Asist in direction and coordination of fleet install areas
  • Works with operations in updating vehicle and driver changes, additions or vehicle removal
• Generates data report for fleet and compliance areas
• Other duties as assigned.
