Responsibilities/Job Duties:

  • Understand, review, and manage project plans.
  • Evaluate client needs based on process & equipment.
  • Design and oversee the work of technicians installing wiring in new construction and remodel projects relating to fire alarm systems, access controls, and etc.
  • Coordinate low voltage work related to repair, installation, and maintenance.
  • Perform inspections, job walks, testing, and maintenance of fire systems.
  • Maintain client relationships.
  • Schedule fire alarm projects each week and update accordingly on ScheduleBase.
  • Work with estimating staff to help accurately quote when change orders are requested.
  • Ensure proper communication with field staff to relay information from the office.
  • Create and print out all NFPA forms for fire alarm tests.
  • Train fire alarm technicians in the area for wiring TC’s, wiring panels, pulling site wire, wiring modules and duct detectors.

Qualifications:

  • NICET level 2 or higher Certification
  • California Fire/Life Safety Certification
  • High school diploma required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
