Reputable painting and home improvement company is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. Job Type: Full time with long-term growth potential. Year-round work.

Experience: 10+ years as a professional finish carpenter

Compensation: $40 - $50 per hour, based on experience and skillset

Responsibilities:

• Install and/or replace interior and exterior trim, wainscoting, windows (new construction & replacement), doors, stairs, built-ins, reclaimed wood accent pieces and other features related to structural integrity and aesthetic appeal
• Precision measure, cut, shape, fit and assemble wood and/or composite, with shop tools and equipment such as saws, planers, jointers, shaper, routers, sanders, and various power tools.
• Prepare structures for finish applications by planning, shaping and sanding; using hand and power tools.
• Determine the type and dimensions of wood stock to be used.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
• May direct work of trainee finish carpenters as assigned.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must be highly efficient
• Attention to detail, physical strength, manual dexterity, and visualization skills
• Have your own hand tools
• Personable with excellent communication skills with both team and customers
• Professional, high-quality work and good work ethic
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Punctual and able to work 40+ hours
• Ability to carry and climb ladders, as well as lift 50+lbs.
• Valid MA Driver's License
• Good references
• Smartphone with internet access for mobile application for timekeeping, scheduling, and communications
