Job description
Lincoln Tech's Corporate Office is seeking Financial Aid Advisors to help conduct Financial Aid appointments for students and their parents. These are remote positions utilizing phone skills to help students complete the Financial Aid process from enrollment to start. These positions employ both full- and part-time shifts. Office positions are also available in our Denver and Parsippany locations.
- Conduct scheduled telephone appointments to families to provide assistance with the financial aid process
- Deliver positive customer service and responses to student financial aid questions
- Complete all necessary financial documents and update notes in the CVUE system
- Provide potential students with accurate information regarding their eligibility for state and/or federal assistance or alternative financing
- Assist students and families with determining options for balance resolution
- Answer questions regarding Financial Aid in a professional
- Follow up on missing paperwork due from students
- Travel to campuses to assist with orientation, special events, etc.
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years of Financial Aid experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the capability to multi-task
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Flexible work schedule
- Limited travel may be required to the campuses and corporate office for meetings, training, and campus assistance
