Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio has an opening for an experienced Registered Cardiac Sonographer for an echocardiography laboratory and at the Cardiology satelite offices.
This position serves as a registered cardiac sonographer in the echocardiography laboratory and at the cardiology satellite offices. The Cardiac Sonographer III is required to perform all aspects of an echocardiographic exam, have a strong knowledge of cardiac pathology/echo equipment and work with students/staff. The Cardiac Sonographer III also contributes skills to assist with an efficient operation of the department. Extensive knowledge of cardiac pathology. Demonstrated competence with all aspects of echo exams: transthoracic, transesophageal, stress, pharmacologic. 5 years of experience in echo, preferably in a tertiary care setting
High School Equivalent / GED 5 plus years of experience RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Grad of Cardiovascular Tech Prog or Sonography Prog w/ echocardiography cross-training. RDCS, RCS, or ACS required. BLS required.
