If you love working in a dynamic team environment as a motivated self-starter, Robert Half is filling an excellent position of File Clerk with a growing Holding Co - Non-Bank company. This position requires performance of basic clerical tasks, which includes managing and maintaining physical and digital filing systems, operating office equipment, and completing general office work. - Respond to questions about records and files
- Support and coordinate assistance with other employees on diverse projects
- Handle clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, archiving, and faxing
- Collect data within allotted time frames
- Manage files from departments and employees by gathering and indexing
- Using specific guidelines, arrange high volumes of memoranda, letters, invoices, and other indexed documents
- Ensure proper document filing as part of quality control
- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Experience with Word and Excel
- Applicants should apply with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience handling office equipment
- Expertise in filing
- Clerical Duties experience desired
- At least 1 year of File Clerk experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
