We are looking for a Field Service Technician for our Modesto, California facility!

Summary:
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for identifying cost-effective solutions to problems or concerns relating to our insulated panels. They will also be responsible for resolving & fixing these issues while providing excellent customer service and customer assistance during field visits.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

  • On-Site repair and addressing any issues with Kingspan products or services.
  • Follows up on work assignments from Supervisor.
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Diagnose technical problems and determine the most cost-effective solution.
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Tie workflow to a schedule.
  • Manage customer cases to ensure complete closure.
  • Produce timely detailed service reports.
  • Document processes of Field repair & develop SOP’s.
  • Following Construction Safety policies & procedures.
  • All other duties are assigned as required.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge or experience on a construction site is a distinct advantage. Some on the job training will be offered.
Computer Skills:
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Outlook.
Other Skills and Requirements:
  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
  • Good telephone and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to read construction drawings.
  • Forklift License.
  • Safety Conscience.
Salary range: $65,000-85,000/year
