- Establishes and maintains open & positive communication and proximity assistance with all Airbus staff and Safran Site Manager at Ft Rucker as well as UH-72 operators in specified region.
- Ensure customers recognize position as the primary interface to resolve issues and provide technical expertise.
- Report all service difficulties; promotes Safran's image and provide market-related information.
- Primary region of responsibility will be the United States, specifically Ft Rucker and UH-72 operators in the area surrounding this site. Secondary areas of responsibility will be to back up other GOV & Mil regions of the TM-USA subsidiary and on call support where applicable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Has complete technical knowledge of Arriel 1E2 & Arriel 2E engines, as well as general familiarity with Arrius & Makila engines.
- Researches and answers customer technical questions. When necessary, provides on-site technical assistance and supervision to oversee troubleshooting and/or repair of complex or unusual problems.
- Coordinates issue resolution with Engineering, Customer Service, and other personnel to expedite repairs, troubleshooting, and/or analysis of components or other support issues Exercises resourcefulness and “can do” attitude in order to facilitate this activity.
- Integral part of Front Office team supporting the Safran Gov & Military Head of Customer Support and LUH Customer Support Manager, and Safran Site Manager for Ft Rucker.
- Qualified to perform Levels 1 and 2 maintenance on engines operated in the assigned region.
- Have good familiarization of Arriel 1 Level 3 tasks and Maintenance Technical Instructions (MTIs) (to include Level 3 if qualification if necessary)
- Provides Level 1 and 2 familiarization oversight as needed to support off-site Field Maintenance instruction.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with internal and external customers, able to compose written documentation and to read and interpret various types of technical documentation.
- Communicates with all customers in regional area and report communication using the reporting tool as preferred by the LUH Customer Support Manger and/or TM Corporate.
- Required to perform regular scheduled visits with each assigned base.
- Coordinates and participates in customer visits of other a personnel as necessary in assigned area.
- “On Call” duty may be required.
- Travel required ~25%, including international travel.

Job requirements
- Fluent in English languages. Written and verbal communication.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and application.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Arriel 1 Levels 1 and 2 Maintenance certification.
- AirBus Helicopter airframe and Turbomeca engine experience required.
- Intermediate Level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
