Farmers Insurance is looking for hard-working individuals to join our team. We are looking for entrepreneurs who want to take control of their life and financial future and become an agency owner with Farmers Insurance. We have seen people from all backgrounds do very well in this industry and a large portion of that is due to the training and financial assistance we provide.

NOTE: Minimum Asset Requirement of $10,000+ will be required.

Because everyone is at a different point in their career journey, we offer multiple entry points into becoming an Agency Owner with Farmers Insurance:

Retail and FLEX Programs: Similar to starting a franchise, you start with a branded office location and staff. Retail agents receive extensive training support through the process and the best bonus opportunities available to Farmers Agent Owners. You’ll be eligible to earn bonuses on top of commission for up to 3 years. Proof of financial assets is required.

Acquisition Program: Purchase an established Farmers Insurance Agency with a client/income base in place. You’ll benefit from extensive training and support as well as generous bonus opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Traits

• Sales and customer service experience

• Excellent communication skills

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Desire to continually learn new products and services

• No bankruptcies within the last 12 months, not more than $5000 in collections

• Favorable criminal record

• Be willing to work towards getting your Property, Causality, Life and Health insurance license
