Position Summary:
This position requires a trained engineer to assist other facility managers in the oversight of corporate and distribution facilities on a multi-state site level. Position will assist senior facility managers with engineering solutions for infrastructure maintenance, improved facility performance, site evaluations, facility regulatory (state & local) management issues. Must possess medium level knowledge of AUTOCAD and GIS related programs. Must possess analytical review abilities with ROI's and rate of return on project evaluations. Must have the ability to assist and conduct comprehensive facility audits. Must have reasonable knowledge of basic structural, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and site infrastructure of office facilities, large warehouses and light manufacturing facilities. Thorough knowledge of the planning and design process and the ability to engage with internal industrial engineers and operational managers. Must have some experience in project and/or operational management planning process and knowledge of the project bidding process. Position will also require thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT and National and local building code compliance on all facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and the maintenance operations of all facility infrastructure systems.
- Provide senior facility managers with analytical analysis reports and recommendations as necessary.
- Provide and maintain all AUTOCAD files and produce AUTOCAD drawings as required.
- Conduct due diligence analysis of specific assigned projects.
- Assist in facility audits by establishing facility templates and documenting the audits.
- Perform site evaluations.
- Assist with review, design and project field request reviews of ongoing construction projects.
- Team member of LEED, EV, Energy Star, Solar projects and green building initiatives.
Employment Standards:
- Knowledge of construction industry classification standards
- Construction project management practices (project scheduling)
- Facility Inspection audits
- Must possess a proficiency in the use of 2D and AUTODESK AUTOCAD (version 2021)
- Microsoft/Mac proficiency
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Architecture from an accredited institution is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 10-15 years in Facility, Industrial engineering, architectural office or construction management with experience in warehousing and/or industrial infrastructure maintenance operations.
- PE and/or CFM certification is required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present and communicate with all levels within the organization, with agencies and vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines and adjust to sudden changes in workflow.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think independently, take corrective action, and to resolve employee inquiries and requests for information.
- Ability to manage and administer a broad range of tasks including resolving complaints, counseling managers and employees on the interpretation of policies, procedures
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in a variety of situations.
- Ability to act independently and take initiative to solve problems, implement solutions, and create new processes
- Ability to maintain all job-related information in a confidential and private manner.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work extended hours may be required to meet deadlines, handle unusual workloads or to accomplish organizational priorities
- Ability to Travel.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods in one location which may be restricted to the employee's workstation.
