Welder/Fabricator

Physical Requirements:

Normal use of hands, fingers and limbs. Must posses the ability to bend, stoop and have the dexterity to work in confined places and in varying working positions including from prone or lying positions and overhead. Must posses the manual dexterity to work with common hand and power tools associated with the trade. Must also be capable of standing for extended time periods and posses the ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 75lbs. The ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test is a prerequisite of employment.

Essential Functions:

High level of competence and experience with fabrication and repair with all types of manufactured trailers including but not limited to:

• On occasion perform Tarp and Tarp mechanism repairs
• On occasion perform lighting and lighting wire repairs
• Advanced Oxygen and Acetylene cutting and welding knowledge
• Advanced both in aluminum and steel welding
• Basic fabrication skills necessary
• Willingness to learn and utilize our Maintenance Software program in its entirety for equipment maintenance history, warranty processing and customer billing.

General Requirements:

• 5 years of documented experience in Welding and Fabrication work preferred
• Employee must provide individual hand and air tools required to perform his daily duties, all specialized repair and diagnostic tooling will be provided.
• Must possess adequate written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a willing team player capable of learning and following directions.
