Clarion Pointe East Lansing is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee our housekeeping operations. As the Executive Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and guest satisfaction throughout our hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning procedures and quality control measures.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely guest requests, room turnovers, and special cleaning projects.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment inventory, and place orders as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain budgetary guidelines for the housekeeping department.
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping services in a prompt and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department is required.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to motivate and train a diverse team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety procedures is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
