Landmark Recovery operates Residential Treatment Programs for individuals with Substance Abuse Disorder. Responsibilities
The Executive Director is responsible for orchestrating everything - overseeing the administration, program, and strategic plan of the facility, which includes maintaining daily census goals and overall daily operations of the facility. The Executive director will:
- Oversee overall operations of the facility including achieving and/or maintaining a profitable operation through budgeting and achieving income and expense goals that have been established by the Corporate Office
- Directly supervise the Management Team
- Set the tone, culture and feeling of the facility and the experience for everyone
- Support the Marketing effort and take personal responsibility for the facility’s occupancy goals
- Plan and organize adequate staffing to meet patient needs
- Supervise and coordinate the activity and projects of all disciplines (including interviewing, hiring, and training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and addressing complaints and resolving problems)
- Complete performance reviews and take disciplinary action as needed for the Management Team
- Oversee discharge planning & manage facility relationships with aftercare providers to ensure each patient is set up for continued success in their recovery journey
- Follow, implement, and support the facility’s policies and procedures plus educate staff and patients about policies and procedures as necessary
- Develop, implement, and maintain strategies for ensuring compliance with all aspects of relevant facility regulations, including state regulations and the Joint Commission
- Perform other administrative and supervisory duties to ensure efficient and profitable operation
- Provide 24 hour & 7 days/week on call coverage for all urgent facility needs (optionally assigning on call responsibilities as needed)
- In absence of staff, perform those job responsibilities personally or through delegation to other staff members
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with everyone including management, staff, clients, the public, etc.
- Do additional duties as assigned
- Report directly to the Regional VP of Operations
Qualifications
- BA/BS or higher in Marketing, Business Management or an equivalent field
- MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in an administrator role or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in the inpatient chemical dependency field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
- Commitment to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
- Authorization to work in the US is required
Location: Wintersville, OH
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 24/7 on call
Compensation: $100K + Benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental, Life, 401K, UNLIMITED PTO, Family Leave).
