Job description
We are seeking a passionate self-starter to lead up graphic design + event branding projects at The Event Company. This individual will use their talents to not only create + manage all graphic design elements + content creation for our clients, but also for The Event Company. Candidates must be willing to work occasional evenings, weekends + have the ability to travel multi-days for events that require graphic design needs on-site or assisting the overall team with event day needs.
Duties may include, but not limited to:
- Develop + design print + digital assets including event logos + flyers + invitation suites + website enhancements + day-of event branded elements for various clients
- Design social media graphics for not only event campaigns, but also year-round branding of the organization
- Assisting Strategic Communications Manager by ensuring all social graphics + communications are in alignment with client brand standards + messaging as well as The Event Company’s overall branding
- Work closely with Event Designers for all event graphic design + marketing needs
- Work with the Leadership Team to maintain + update The Event Company’s website
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or marketing
- At least three years of professional client-facing graphic design experience
- Two years of marketing/advertising + communications experience is preferred, but not required
- Prior work in the hospitality + event industry is preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud with emphasis in the following: InDesign, Illustrator + Photoshop
- Creative + artistic in skillfully producing a variety of graphic art work in several forms
- Excellent interpersonal verbal + written communications
- Social media savvy on platforms like Facebook + Twitter + Instagram + YouTube + LinkedIn
- Experience in using social media management software like Gain + Hootsuite, etc.
- Knowledge + use of email marketing + CRM software like Mailchimp + Hubspot + Constant Contact
- Strong proficiency in G Suite + MS Office + Dropbox
- Experience in project management applications like Asana + Trello + Basecamp (both web + mobile)
- Highly organized with ability to multitask + manage various projects at once, all while meeting deadlines
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
- Self-starter with proven experience to prioritize + execute successful graphic designs campaigns
- Must possess + maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license + automobile insurance
- Willingness to travel
Salary + Benefits:

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
