Advanced Personnel Resources is recruiting for New Home Construction Estimator/Project Manager that has experience within the construction industry providing support to construction managers for high-end projects. Ideal candidates will be advanced in MS Excel, have the ability to read construction plans, knowledge of construction permits and budgets.

Direct Hire Salary: 60K-80K

Job Duties:

• Review selections & plans and order construction materials and labor using Purchase orders inside BuilderTrend software
• Communicate with Field Construction Managers on needs for permits, water meters and contact the appropriate government authority to apply. Send check request to Accounting when permits are ready to be paid for/picked up
• Review plans & selections with Construction field Managers to red-line building plans
• Communicate with engineers & architects on plan designs, changes
• Create house specific budgets using excel based on master budgets. Communicate budget information to banks for construction loan financing and accounting for builder’s risk and results tracking New homeowner’s warranties: tracking & follow up with Construction Managers

Qualifications:

• Design Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience in the related field
• Ability to read and understand architectural floor plans and elevations
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, as well as individually based on the project needs
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
