Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Equity Compensation Administration Manager (New Consumer Health Company). This position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $87,000 to $150,650
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.
It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Job Description:
The Equity Compensation Administration Manger has responsibility for the global administration and accounting for the Equity Award Plan. The individual in this role is passionate about employee experience, project management and execution. This role will partner with Total Rewards, Executive Compensation, Legal, Information Technology, Talent Mobility, and Payroll, as well as vendor Fidelity to help ensure compliance with plan rules.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead all equity compensation administration processes such as granting and vesting of equity awards, escalation of participant issues, data accuracy at Fidelity, transactional support to participants and payrolls globally, and support to internal stakeholders such as legal, tax, accounting and treasury functions as needed for equity information and inquiries
- Support end-to-end global equity administration multi-stakeholder enterprise-wide projects. SME on vendor functionality and processes to drive implementation of effective business solutions, while acting in collaboration with multiple business partners
- Lead team on data analyses in conjunction with the annual/monthly vesting and granting of equity awards, on-going Talent Mobility taxation processes, Total Rewards, legal requests, and periodic participant data corrections; optimizing the processes and approach
- Manage equity administration vendor to ensure vendor processes and transactions occur in accordance with J&J contractual agreement, aligned with LTI plan documents and legal and tax compliance rules
- Develop and facilitate all employee communications and educational programs with administration vendor and stakeholders thinking strategically and proactively to educate participants, reduce service center inquiries and improve participant experience
- Liaison with stakeholders in a matrixed environment including, Total Rewards, Executive Compensation, Human Resources, Legal, IT and global payroll teams to manage and resolve all employee inquiries
- Individual must have exceptional business partnering and communication skills and be passionate about delivering best-in-class employee experience. They need strong analytical skills to compare and assess large data sets. Must be a strong business partner able to influence stakeholders on cross-functional teams. Must work well in ambiguous circumstances and champion continuous process improvements and benchmark best practices with stakeholders and outside vendors. Must have strong project planning and time leadership skills to drive initiatives and annual equity events. Self-motivated and proactive problem solver adept at achieving results individually and working in a collaborative team environment
This role will report to the Head of Executive Compensation and Equity Administration.
A maximum of 25% travel will be required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 8 years of relative and dynamic experience
- Must be able to operate as an agile leader with understanding and appreciation for regional/country differences
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and daily planned and unplanned operational activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; formal presentation and facilitation skills
- Must be able to maintain confidential information
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Requirements/Competencies:
- CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification
- Experience with continuous improvement and quality, such as Six Sigma or Lean Methodology
