Heavy Equipment Operator

Full time/Benefited

Manufacturing Solutions Inc., located in Morrisville, VT is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our MSI Trucking and Sitework Team. In this position you will be joining a rapidly growing department and working under the program manager you will use varying skills to support projects requiring the operation of machines and equipment. This position will have seasonal variation depending on the weather and projects to be completed. The Heavy Equipment Operator will work with different leaders to achieve goals specific to their departments as needed.

Additionally, you will work along with our construction team to carry out plans as agreed to and take action to ensure work is done on time, and within budget.

Job responsibilities include:

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
• Assessing the risk levels associated with a project
• Serve as site lead, and carry out site work per spec
• Complete earth work projects as necessary
• Maintain all equipment in dispatch ready condition at all times and maintain routine preventative maintenance schedule.

The qualified candidate will have:

• At least 5 years Heavy Equipment experience required
• A valid State CDL license
• Solid communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team
