Asst. Manager of Environmental Services

Department: Maintenance/Housekeeping and Laundry

Hours: 40 hours week with rotating every other weekend housekeeping and laundry.

Physical Requirements:

. Exposed to chemicals, foul odors, temperature changes, weather conditions, possible hazards in repairs.

. Must be physically able to bend, stand, walk, flex, twist frequently.

. Must be able to crawl in confined spaces, inside and outside of the facility.

. Must be able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds occasionally.

. May need to climb ladder and experience heights occasionally.

. Must practice safety processes at all times.

Requirements:

. Must maintain an Ohio Driver’s License

. Must maintain insurance on personal vehicle.

. Must have knowledge of basic electric, plumbing, painting and carpentry tasks

. Must have working knowledge of tools and equipment and to be able to demonstrate knowledge.

. Maintains the grounds by mowing, raking, snow removal, and removing of debris.

. Ensure all facility exits are accessible and working properly.

. Maintain chemicals and toxic materials in a safe method.

. Perform preventative maintenance as assigned the Environmental Services Director.

. Keep records for the department as assigned by the Environmental Services Director.

. Must be able to rotate every other week-end in housekeeping and laundry.

. Must be on call for the facilities needs during off hours. This is rotated with the Environmental Manager. Must judge the request for quick response or next day repair. Compensation will be according to the policy and experience.

. Protect the privacy of all residents at all times, including (HIPPA) information contained in the resident’s medical record.

. Maintain good public impression, be polite to residents and visitors.

. Follow and complete assignments given by the Environmental Services Director.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.75 per hour
