The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will be responsible for managing Environmental, Health and Safety at all US locations with the potential to collaborate with international safety personnel. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, as well as Company policies, procedures and processes. This position is responsible for working with the management teams and employees in various business units to identify and mitigate EHS risk to contribute to the operational success of the Organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads safety teams (and related teams such as first responder and spill teams) at all domestic business units.
- Provides opinions and guidance on interpretation and application of relevant federal, state, or international health and safety regulations. Communicates significant changes to management team.
- Develops policies, procedures and training programs related to environmental, health and safety at a corporate level and at an operational level.
- Builds and monitors key EHS metrics to drive environmental, health and safety performance.
- Facilitates Workers' Compensation claims, investigations and return to work processes with employees, managers, and HR business partners.
- Partners with management to build safety budgets and track progress towards achieving budgetary objectives.
- Completes job safety analysis’ (JSA) and subsequently determines and implements necessary controls and PPE to proactively mitigate risk.
- Creates and executes studies to monitor and assess employees' exposure to health risks, and to measure the effectiveness of occupational health programs, policies, and procedures including overseeing biological monitoring programs, as necessary.
- Conducts hazardous waste determinations and maintains internal process documents in compliance with regulations.
- Completes environmental reporting timely, as applicable, which could include storm water pollution, spill prevention programs, Tier I, Tier II, and TRI.
- Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Safety and Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent is preferred
- 3+ years of related industrial experience and/or training.
- Knowledge and training of EH&S (Environmental, Health and Safety) regulations are required.
- Demonstrates and applies basic knowledge of chemical compounds and families.
- Occasional travel required.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent at the discretion of Human Resources and the hiring Manager.
