Graphic Edge Printing and Packaging provides commercial printing and packaging for the greater Milwaukee area. Customers include direct to manufacturer, print brokers, and volume print partners.

We are seeking the right person to learn to print sales to help grow with a great company and maintain great communication with and service to our clients. This is a position that requires flexibility and willingness to perform various job duties related to print sales as well as customer service and estimating. You will be guided into how to sell print and packaging, not given a brief overview, then kicked out to fend for yourself. The sales manager will work closely with you as you assist with projects on all levels, including the entire sales process, traveling to customer sites, working with purchasers to develop strong relationships, and how to sell solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Support sales manager and customer service reps.
• Will eventually be responsible for every aspect of the sales process including identifying, contacting, quoting, closing, and managing jobs.
• Develop a thorough understanding and application of the world of print and how our services and solutions can assist existing and potential customers.
• Manage new customers as well as some of our house accounts.
• Work with the sales manager while contacting and visiting existing customers learning how to approach and market to potential new customers.
• Communicate efficiently and professionally, in both written and verbal form.
• Use computer software such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing applications, email, internet, presentation software, etc.
• Is willing to travel when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sales experience not required, but would be a plus
• Willingness to learn our services and the print process
• Self-starter and goal oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Workspace

Salary: Experience Based Scaled Salary + Commission
