Entry Level Project Coordinator

Harper Brothers Construction is a full-service civil construction company specializing in complex heavy civil construction projects including, heavy underground, bridges, and road work. We are currently looking for Entry Level Project Coordinators to join our team to complete some of the most exciting work in the Houston area. We are seeking difference makers who want to learn from leaders in the industry.

As an entry level project coordinator, your responsibilities may include:

• Problem Solving with team
• Review contract and specifications in its entirety
• Assist Project Manager, Project Superintendent and Project Engineer as required
• Assist with all schedule preparations and updates in P6
• Assist with quantity reporting, project costs and forecasting
• Obtain pricing from subcontractors and vendors to include charge orders
• Requisition equipment and material deliveries as required
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to resolve project challenges and conflicts
• Assist with monthly billing, cash flow projections, and change order processing
• Review daily reports for accuracy
• Comply with notice requirements such as inspections, survey staking, joint measurements with owner and/or engineer, utility locations and adjustments, testing, claims, etc.
• Issue correspondence to subcontractors and vendors when revised plan and/or specifications affects products or services
• Assist with project closeout
• Perform additional assignments per the Project Manager's direction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
• Must be highly motivated to work in the underground construction field
• We want leaders with strong communication skills ready to work hard, be a part of the team, and contribute to the success of the company.

Experience in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office are beneficial.
