We currently have several openings in our Manufacturing department that do not require prior industry experience. Positions available include Inspection (4 positions) and Wheel Technician (1 position). Details on each position are listed below.

Inspection - Essential Duties

The quality of our tools is extremely important to their intended performance. The Inspection employee will use appropriate inspection processes (visual and dimensional), use measuring equipment, and read blueprints to ensure our tools meet the necessary specifications and quality control standards that have been established. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • in-process inspections
  • first part inspections
  • second approval
  • SPC tracking
  • provide alerts when adjustments are needed
  • confirm correction after adjustment
  • daily reports for engineering

    Wheel Technician - Essential Duties

    The ability to perform the duties of this job in a manner that yields consistent wheel performance is critical to the manufacturing process, and ultimately to the quality of the tools produced. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

    • build wheel packs per specifications
    • dress wheels / maintain equipment
    • store, organize, maintain wheel packs
    • record wheel pack usage
    • inventory
    • provide reports as requested

    Manufacturing Essential Duties & Requirements

    High School diploma or G.E.D. required. General math skills are necessary for this position and a math test will be administered. Reliable transportation and the ability to adhere to a schedule are requirements for this position.

    Manufacturing positions require the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.; the ability to safely handle wheels, wheel packs, and tools; flexibility of hands/fingers for handling tools, wheel parts, and for data entry purposes; visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses; the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing; the ability to stand for periods of time; the ability to walk / ambulate; the ability to bend or reach to retrieve materials. Accommodation requests will be considered with a high focus on safety.

    Wage & Schedules

    We have positions available on most shifts, with a starting wage of $16.00-$17.00/hour. Shift Differential applies, depending on shift.

    3rd Shift, Inspection - 1 position 8:15p - 6:45a, Monday thru Thursday ($1.25 shift differential)

    4th Shift, Inspection - 2 positions 6:30a - 7:00p, Friday thru Sunday ($2.25 shift differential)

    4th Shift, Wheel Tech - 1 position 6:30a - 7:00p, Friday thru Sunday ($2.25 shift differential)

    5th Shift, Inspection - 1 position 6:30p - 7:00a, Friday thru Sunday ($3.50 shift differential)

    Working Conditions:

    The Manufacturing employee will work primarily in a production area, where there may be contact with natural oils, synthetic oils, and various grinding dusts. This area has moderate noise levels and has climate control. This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, bending, reaching, fine manipulation, reading, and writing. Due to the nature of our product, proper handling of cutting tools is necessary to prevent injury. Proper instruction, training, and PPE is provided as needed for the specific job or duty.
