About the Role

The Enterprise Logistics Systems Analyst is a self-motivated individual with a strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and EDI Systems. This role will be primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these systems, troubleshooting issues, and working on projects to improve and update our current system capabilities. An essential part of the role is to facilitate the onboarding of new customers into our WMS, TMS, and EDI systems. In quieter periods, the Analyst will assist with other IT helpdesk tasks and potentially other areas of the business. This role requires 5-10% travel for system implementations, customer meetings, and occasional training or industry events. Efficiency and accuracy are crucial to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our WMS, TMS, and EDI systems.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new customers into the WMS, TMS, and EDI systems.
• Work with customers to understand their specific requirements and customize the system setup accordingly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Work on projects to migrate, upgrade, or improve our current systems.
• Provide system setup and testing for quality assurance purposes.
• Assist with SQL-related tasks and issues.
• Develop and utilize SQL Stored Procedures and Views to customize processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve logistics and supply chain processes.
• Support the helpdesk and other areas of IT as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Core Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with WMS, TMS, and EDI systems (1-3 years required).
• Experience with customer onboarding and system setup.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical data.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects within estimated timeframes.
• Ability to quickly learn new software and adapt to changes in technology.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work any shift as needed for planned maintenance or emergency work.
• Experience in a warehousing/logistics company is required. Knowledge in any of the following is also a plus: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Crystal Reports, SSRS Reporting, Power BI Dashboards, Jira, C#, C++, Java, Informix, 4GL.
