The Enterprise Cloud Architect is responsible for the strategy, design, development and deployment of BOKF’s cloud infrastructure. The incumbent closely partners with business and IT stakeholders to improve infrastructure manageability, efficiency, and agility by assessing and leveraging cloud services and technologies to improve operational agility, improve the customer experience, lower long-term costs, and increase system resiliency. The Enterprise Cloud Architect is accountable for assessing current state, identifying future state, identifying gaps between the states, and guiding change to reach the future state of cloud infrastructure capabilities. As a subject matter expert, the Cloud Architect collaborates with senior business leaders and IT application teams to drive cloud adoption and demonstrates leadership ability by backing recommendations with research, articulating pros and cons of options.

Additionally, this role is responsible for researching new cloud technologies looking for trends and opportunities to creatively support the needs of the enterprise in support of key strategic objectives.

• You will partner with peer architects across the enterprise to define and execute the multi-year cloud strategy
• You will leverage DevSecOps tools and methodologies to develop, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure
• You will partner closely with application, operations, and security teams to identify opportunities to leverage cloud concepts and technologies
• You will constantly review emerging technologies and software that will strengthen the security and governance of our cloud assets
• You will provide standards, best practices for a highly available and fault tolerant architecture
• You will develop, test, debug, and document modules or libraries for use across multiple projects for the primary purposes of automation and self-service
• You will provide guidance and support to peers in the process of upskilling around your expertise
• You will evaluate platform performance, isolate, and debug problems, and make recommendations for problem resolution
• You will anticipate and identify issues inhibiting goal attainment of assigned unit/area and develop and implement corrective actions
• You will communicate technical ideas and concepts to non-technical employees to educate on core concepts
• You will collaborate with strategic vendors and partners to review and influence product roadmaps, strategies, and plans to ensure alignment with BOKF’s needs, both current and future and ensure infrastructure capabilities are properly tested and validated in the BOKF environment.
