Position Purpose
The Enrollment Operations Program Assistant provides administrative support to the Admissions and Financial Aid Offices in the recruitment and selection of students, provides information to the public about the admissions and financial aid processes and Dartmouth College, and ensures the smooth operation of both departments.

Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Two years of customer service, information processing/data entry and/or administrative support with some autonomy.
  • Familiarity with computers, knowledge of or ability to learn a variety of programs and information systems, including Slate and Banner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collegial and service-oriented demeanor.
  • Self-starter who can work independently or collaboratively with a variety of academic and administrative colleagues.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
  • Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Navigates databases to provide information to current and prospective students and their supporters.

Description
Enrollment Operations Admin - Is responsible for supporting one of the following portfolios within enrollment operations: selection and general recruitment, communications, visitor relations, targeted recruitment, or financial aid processing. Collaborates with senior staff to identify portfolio project scope and timeline. Liaises with admissions and financial aid officers to accomplish project goals. Gathers information, coordinates distribution of information, and shares assignments of projects with team members for support as necessary; with colleagues, jointly prioritizes work and balances workloads to ensure completion of shared projects. Assists with event and travel planning. Supports the office mission to foster inclusiveness and diversity;
