WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Embedded Engineer provides embedded software development and engineering support for the CPI verticals and for global New Product Development activities. The role requires a thoughtful and detailed approach to design of new embedded systems, as well as solving problems stemming from customer, field support, sales and production related issues. It involves investigating and analyzing issues related to product problems and design appropriate solutions to improve product performance. The engineer will be work to ensure all firmware is delivered on time and that design appropriate product testing and analysis of results are done as required per CPI quality standards.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 0-2 years’ software development experience required (real-time embedded environment)
  • Experience with RTOS (real time operating system)
  • Working knowledge of C programming language
  • Ability to read and interpret UML diagrams and schematic diagrams for digital circuits
  • Demonstrated expertise in development & debugging of software in real time embedded environments
  • Working knowledge of Software Configuration Management and issue tracking
  • Knowledge of HDLs (specifically Verilog) is a valuable asset
  • Experience creating and writing technical documents.

  • Compensation status: Hourly Paid
