To join our team as an Energy Technician. Acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support program staff and clients in their efforts to influence stakeholders, to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits, or new construction. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.

· 1-3 Years: High school or Associates Degree w/relevant industry technical certification/training preferred

· Good working knowledge of Office 365

· Candidate attended a tech school in HVAC achieving a passing grade

· Candidate must have driver’s license in good standing

· Candidate must have good working knowledge of Office 365

· Candidates have min. of 3 years experience working in the HVAC field (instead of tech school)

· BPI Certification preferred

· R-67 Low Voltage Communication Systems license is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

25% Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades
20% Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
25% Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
25% Travel throughout a defined territory
5% Misc.
