Sorenson Communications, LLC. offers Video Relay Service (VRS), which gives Deaf, who use American Sign Language (ASL), and hearing people the option to communicate in their preferred language - either ASL or spoken English or Spanish. Sorenson also provides onsite and remote interpreting services between English and various other world languages.

CaptionCall, LLC. offers Internet protocol captioned telephone service (IP CTS) using advanced technology and a captioning agent to quickly provide written captions of what callers say on a large, easy-to-read screen.


Job Summary

The HR Engagement Manager is responsible to review, revise, implement and align the organization on all employee engagement programs and processes. This role manages the planning, communication, and timeline of all events and processes and will lead the definition, management, tracking and successful execution of various engagement activities being conducted to support the employees.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert in the review, revision, implementation and alignment on employee engagement programs and processes
  • Manages the communication plan and timeline of all employee engagement events, processes, i.e., speaker series, crisis management discussion topics, etc.
  • Develops, manages, and communicates a calendar of all employee engagement programs and processes, coordinating events, schedules and plans for leaders throughout the organization
  • Develops draft communications to leaders and employees on all employee engagement programs and processes and leads the practice for approvals and execution of the plans
  • Leads the definition, management, tracking and successful execution of various company-wide employee engagement initiatives
  • Facilitate and train company leaders on employee engagement action plans, interpreting employee survey results, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

No employees will report to this position.

Education

Minimum/Preferred Education Description

Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Or equivalent experience


Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years of proven background in HR project management, or event management
  • Experience in designing employee or customer engagement programs strongly preferred
  • Experience with ASL preferred

  • Strong communicator with the ability to artfully influence, persuade and drive action. A collaborative management style and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally with all levels in the organization.

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.
  • Able to sit/ stand for a long period of time in an office environment
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
