POSITION SUMMARY
USA Lacrosse is looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Email Marketing Coordinator to schedule, create, deploy, and provide reporting and analysis of all USA Lacrosse email marketing campaigns. In this role you will manage and execute our email marketing calendar. You will get to work closely with multiple teams across the organization to help plan and deploy all USA Lacrosse communications to our constituents so they know what we are up to...you will plan, schedule, track assets, conduct testing and analysis, and provide reporting to understand how our email campaigns are performing. This critical role will help USA Lacrosse understand the efficiency of our email communications so we can engage and retain members by increasing awareness of what we are doing to help fuel the growth of lacrosse.

A Typical Day Looks Like...
- Working closely with internal departments and stakeholders to manage, create, and deliver compelling email communications for member and non-member audiences, including newsletters, event-based emails, surveys, and others to keep them updated on what USA Lacrosse is doing and the services available.
- Works closely with the SR Manager, Member Product & Marketing with coordination and execution of the email marketing campaign schedule and deployment of email automations and drip campaigns.
- Assists the SR Manager, Member Product & Marketing with deployment of email automations and drip campaigns.
- Serves as the project manager for all aspects of email campaigns, including, but not limited to, scheduling, content strategy, copy, creative, editing, testing, analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinates with the appropriate stakeholders to obtain information, copy and assets and facilitates approvals and maintains the timeline. This includes assisting with the writing and editing of content to ensure there are clear CTA's for each email.
- Maintains quality assurance (QA) on all emails, this includes verifying all links, checking images, subject lines, ensuring brand standards, and list segments to ensure accuracy. This includes conducting a final QA with exceptional proofreading before deploying.
- Stays up to date with industry best practices for email deliverability and marketing communication strategies.
- Ensures daily monitoring of campaign and delivery performance and logs, monitors, and escalates email development bugs that may affect the email campaigns performance.
- Measures effectiveness of email marketing campaigns and monitor subscriptions/opt-out lists to continually improve return on investment (ROI) from USA Lacrosse's email marketing efforts. This includes collaborating with the analytics team to ensure performance reports are accurate and updated within the email dashboard.
- Analyzes results to optimize campaign strategy based on performance and provides executive summaries of insights with actionable recommendations. This includes developing and executing recommendations for A/B testing and making necessary adjustments based on test findings.
Is This You...
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a communications/marketing role with getting communications out to the public and/or a targeted audience; previous experience with email marketing and digital marketing strongly.
- Previous work experience in a non-profit, association, or other member-based organization a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint. Strong working knowledge of SalesForce Marketing Cloud or similar databases/CRM strongly preferred, Marketing Cloud certification a plus. Strong HTML & CSS skills required.
- Strong foundation and understanding of the digital landscape including experience writing and editing email marketing content.
- Working knowledge of email compliance, including CAN-SPAM, COPPA, opt-ins, and overall email best practices.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics with an understanding of CRM platform metrics.
- Excellent project management skills, with often changing priorities and tight timelines.
- Enthusiastic go-getter with a "roll up your sleeves" and "get it done" attitude. Strong planning, organizational skills, attention to detail, follow up/through skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to achieve results. Must possess a strong "customer first" attitude.
- Willingness to learn about the sport of lacrosse and appreciate the needs for developing funds to fuel its development and growth.

Expected Hours of Work
This position is generally expected to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and occasionally requires longer hours or weekend work as related to events and other business needs. This is a hybrid position and works from the headquarters office in Sparks, MD three (3) days a week with the flexibility to work from home two (2) days a week.
