Patient Eligibility Specialist

Job Location: Muskegon, MI
Hackley Community Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center that offers integrated health services to the residents of Muskegon County and surrounding areas. HCC is looking for a Patient Eligibility Specialist to provide clerical support to our Billing Department.
Under the direct supervision of the Patient Financial Services Manager, the Patient Eligibility Specialist identifies uninsured patients and assists with insurance enrollment.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of community resources and agencies.
- Good organizational skills.
- Communicates in a professional and effective manner.
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to interact effectively and respectfully with diverse groups.
- Efficient typing and Microsoft Office skills.
- Possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
