Elementary Teaching Assistant and Apprentice Openings at Great Hearts

Kindergarten through Fifth grade Teaching Assistants and Apprentices will work with the Lead Teacher in the implementation of Core Knowledge curriculum. While many prefer this role long term, they are continuously mentored by their Lead Teacher and encouraged to grow into the Lead role at their own pace.

No bachelor’s degree is required, and certification is not required to teach at any of the Great Hearts Academies. Great Hearts teachers demonstrate both a love for the breadth of the liberal arts, and a depth of knowledge in the subject area(s) they teach. Apprentice teachers may gain valuable experience in their role for a year before taking a lead position, provided they also attain a bachelor’s degree, which is required for any lead role.

The TA/AT role will be filled as needed, throughout the 22-23 School Year.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
