Job description
Immediate focus on the building and implementation of a migration strategy for several documents sources including paper and electronic to one central repository. Collaborating with key business stakeholders to buildout a needs assessment and document an effective taxonomy for the end users.Other responsibilities include:
- Build a sustainable “go forward’ approach for the migration of any newly acquired documentation systems whether paper or electronic.
- Consult with end users regarding problems in accessing electronic content.
- Enterprise wide ownership and administration of the Bank’s document storage depository, including record retention, image center (cold plus, net image) and oversight of Panorama.
- Responsible for the development of centralized database, gathering and administration of customer notices, forms, and statements into one repository.
- Work directly with our document image vendor(s) to keep abreast of latest releases, patches, and internal third party vendor needs.
- Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management laws.
- Assist in determining document management policies to facilitate efficient, legal, and secure access to electronic content.
- Implement electronic document processing, retrieval, and distribution systems in collaboration with other information technology specialists.
- Administer document and system access rights and revision control to ensure security of system and integrity of master documents.
- Develop or configure document management system features, such as user interfaces, access profiles, and document workflow procedures.
- Document technical functions and specifications for new or proposed content management systems.
- Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management laws.
- Prepare support documentation and training materials for end users of document management systems.
- Keep abreast of developments in document management technologies and techniques by reviewing current literature, talking with colleagues, participating in educational programs, attending meetings or workshops, or participating in professional organizations or conferences. They might also administer document and system access rights and revision control to ensure security of system and integrity of master documents.

- Exceptional attention to detail
- Clear/precise written/oral communications skills
- Strong background using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Power Point, Sharepoint, Visio and Outlook
- Experience working with document content information systems
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential
- Proven creative problem-solving and analytical skills
- Leads document movement across all functional groups.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
