Skilled Electrician - GAINESVILLE & NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA- Immediate Start

Seeking an electrician for start immediately on residential solar jobs. Must have solar specific electrical experience.

Power Production Management is a leader in solar photovoltaic development and installation. We are a full scale solar contracting firm based in Gainesville, FL. Founded in 2009 by Alex Khokhlov and Jason Gonos as two guys in a “truck”, who marketed, designed, and personally installed our customer’s systems, PPM has grown into a solar powerhouse. We are actively involved in deploying projects in Florida from the panhandle to Miami, in North and South Carolina, Washington D.C., and Jamaica. Responsibilities and Duties

Our solar installation teams work closely with our project management team to bring quality solar installations to our residential and commercial customers. Installers and electricians are required to perform both roof and ground installations, and need to be familiar with a broad range of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware
• Connecting solar mounting structure to roof
• Electrical wiring of solar array (AC and DC)
• Interconnection with utility from inverter output
• Job closeout document completion
• Attend mandatory training and safety meetings
• Maintain clean job sites
• Car charger and battery installations

Requirements:

• 4 years commercial/residential electrical experience
• Must have own tools
• Highly motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
• Creative problem solver
• Smart, efficient worker
• Must be experienced with pipe bending
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., with ability to balance and climb ladders/stairs, and complete all aspects of the position in varied climates
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug/background test
• Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record, and keep reliable transportation
• Must be able to work well with others, with good verbal and written communication skills

Job Information:

• Salary: $20-$40 based on skillset.
• Full-time, Monday - Friday with opportunities for overtime
• Benefits for full time employees after 90 days: medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and more

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Electrical License (Preferred)
