Description:

Electrical Mechanics/Journeyman plan, diagram, install and repair electrical systems, including the conduits of tubing or pipe often required by local electrical codes. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and Megohmmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Bend or place conduit (pipes or tubing) on or inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets. Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.

**EVERY WORKER MUST HAVE A TYPE 2 CLASS C HARDHAT – THEY WILL BE SENT AWAY IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THIS SPECIFIC TYPE OF HARDHAT

Need: 2 Electricians (don’t have to be journeyman licensed but journeyman level experience is a MUST; no helpers of any level) –

Start Time: 6am

Parking: On site

Must bring all PPE including Hardhat.. Lee Company can provide a few vests, glasses, etc. where they can but will not provide for everyone!

Duration: roughly 6 months beginning in the first two weeks of January

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• McMinnville, TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Electrical License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
