Position Overview:

• Responsible for installation, repair and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment. Must have full understanding of electrical systems and voltage but not limited to pumps, motors freezers fillers injectors conveyors and all other facility tasks where needed. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install repair and PM electrical equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot all electrical equipment associated with the facility.
• Be able to have understanding of mechanical issues-this will make troubleshooting easier.
• Complete and fill out work orders, PM sheets and Safety Observations.
• Be fully trained in all HP Hood in-house training programs. Follow all safety standards set forth by State, Federal and Company
• O/T when needed
• Assist others in other areas.
• Order parts.
• Assist on floor.
• Come to Supervisor, tell him what needs to happen to fix problem then fix the problem.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility

SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Education and Experience:

• Electrical knowledge
• Licenses and certificates
• Educational Levels (Training)
• Mechanical experience
• High School/Trade School or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs several times.
• Work off ladders (height)
• Heat/Cold 125° F to -40° F
• Wet locations
• Inside/Outside work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
