Atlas Roofing Shingles & Underlayment is seeking anElectrician /“B” Instrument TechnicianforDaingerfield, TX.

Electrician / “B” Instrument Technician Primary Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $29.56/hr.

• Responsible for following all safety rules and guidelines.
• Knowledge of install and size conduits and wiring.
• Ability to install a wide variety of electrical devices and control circuits.
• Knowledge of how to repair, rebuild, and perform upgrades to electrical equipment Programmable Logic Controller's (PLC's).
• Ability to learn how to install and program PLC's, read ladder logic diagrams, understand PLC principles and design considerations.
• Use laptop computers to troubleshoot logic circuit problems and to program PLC's.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment problems to improve uptime.
• Work as a part of the maintenance team.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders timely.
• Demonstrate electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Project startup and commissioning.
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of all electrical and electric shop equipment and tools.
• Mentor other employees with interest in controls when possible.

Electrician “B” Instrument Technician Experience

• Allen Bradley Control Logixs programming and troubleshooting experience required
• Two (2) to Three (3) years' experience working in a maintenance department in a manufacturing environment

“B” Instrument Technician Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic equipment
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Must complete internal electrical exam

“B” Instrument Technician Education, Licenses & Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two (2) year technical degree preferred but previous experience will be considered
