The Job
- Possess an understanding of electricity, electrical systems, electrical motor control systems, and process control instrumentation
- Conduct maintenance, service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical or vehicle servicing
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain all electrical, electrical wiring or equipment
- Performing light maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems and heating/air-conditioning units
- Support repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Install and maintain all HVAC/R and mechanical equipment
- Repair or replace HVAC/R and mechanical equipment using hand tools
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in lighting circuits
- Repair and Maintain plumbing fixtures such as toilets, urinals, sinks, automatic flush valves
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
