Electrical Maintenance Technician

GrafTech has an opening for a Electrical Maintenance Technician at our St. Marys, PA facility. This position will be on a 12 hour rotating DuPont shift. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

· Perform necessary inspection and repair to all plant equipment while following site and regulatory health, safety & environmental policies and procedures.

· Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on, motors, cranes, lathes, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other production machines: ability to read blueprints, sketches, operations manuals, engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions.

· Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation; listening for problems; using specialized maintenance tools and electrical measuring devices.

· Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical malfunctions, and machine breakdowns.

· Responsible for working at heights, and in outdoor conditions.

· Utilize computerized maintenance management system for tracking of maintenance checks and repairs.

The ideal candidate would possess five years industrial maintenance experience. A technical training degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
