The Education Specialist II for NJ GEAR UP reports to the Director of NJ GEAR UP. S/he is primarily responsible with coordinating the academic & cultural enrichment services for the NJ GEAR UP students. The Education Specialist II is responsible for providing direct educational support services and making academic assessment to NJ GEAR UP students. S/he is responsible to assist in completing academic reports and assisting with the planning, recruiting, implementation, and evaluation of the educational and community service projects with students participating in the NJ GEAR UP program. S/he is also responsible for assisting with coordinating academic/community service programs and leadership activities for NJ GEAR UP.
